If personal belongings in the vehicle are damaged due to an accident
Escort (special coverage for personal belongings)
Your insurance policy covers you for damage to personal belongings contained, for example, in your trunk, resulting from collision, fire, theft, and other unforeseen accidents.Notes:
- The amount of damages to be paid is calculated by the cost of replacing the goods with new items, minus the amount of depreciation based on the age of the items and their use. 5,000 yen is then deducted from this figure, representing the personal liability of the owner.
- This additional coverage is not applicable if you are already insured under the Lifestyle Coverage.
- Merchandise and other items not associated with personal belongings are not covered under the terms of this insurance.
