AIU full coverage

Standard

If this happens…The insured vehicle is involved in an accident (e.g. your car was rear-ended… the car in front suddenly reversed into you… etc.)

This would be the normal result…The insurance company of the person who caused the accident pays (property damage compensation) However, sometimes the people who cause accidents don’t contact their insurance companies
If the insurance party of the person who caused the accident is not present, it may not be possible to have the car repaired.
In the case of total loss, it may not be possible to claim for the entire amount (the insured amount)

OR

Your insurance company pays (car insurance)
Even though your level of blame is “0”…
You will be listed as having had an accident, you will lose your no-claim status, and your insurance premium will increase the following year.

With AIU, however, it’s a different picture
1. Our speedy damage service goes into action (with the insurance company of the person who caused the accident)
We will carry out the necessary negotiations on your behalf, with quick, efficient service. Because the claim will be processed using your own car insurance, you will be able to carry out car repairs much sooner.

2. We will pay for the claim / the car repair bill
If the vehicle is a total loss, you will be able to claim the full insured amount.

3. Even if you use your car insurance to cover the accident, you are not penalized as having had an accident
Even if your own car insurance is used to process the claim, the accident will not be counted against you, and your non-fleet grading will increase by one level (maximum possible is 20). This will depend on the following.

[Conditions]
1.
The driver of the insured vehicle must not be at fault in causing the accident
2.
The owner or driver of the insured vehicle must be able to confirm the registration number of the other vehicle involved in the accident
3.
The policy holder must be able to show proof that the other vehicle is insured, and have a copy of the conditions of that insurance
4.
The policy holder must agree to continue using our services

Repair of insured automobile at specified auto repair shop

If the repair of the insured vehicle is carried out at an auto repair shop specified by this company, an additional 5% (up to 50,000 yen) will be paid. However, this will not be paid if the owner of the insured vehicle contacts us with such a request.

Substitute vehicle expenses coverage

The expenses related to renting a vehicle after an accident will be covered by car insurance.

Fixed amount payment: regardless of whether you use a rental vehicle or not, a fixed amount will be paid to you depending on the number of days it takes to repair your car.
Actual cost payment: if you used a rental vehicle while your car was being repaired, the actual cost of renting that vehicle (up to a daily limit) will be paid.

Accident incidental expense coverage

For accident entitled to receive a payout, if your vehicle cannot be driven under its own power after an accident, your expenses, such as hotel, return travel expenses, etc, will be covered by your insurance.

Accommodation fees
Return transportation fees
Luggage transportation fees
Cancellation fees

Total loss of vehicle incidental expense coverage (limit 400,000 yen)

If the insured vehicle becomes a total loss as a result of an accident, there are a number of incidental costs involved in scrapping the vehicle and paying taxes for a replacement vehicle. To help reduce the burden, we will pay you 5% of the car insurance value plus 100,000 yen (up to a limit of 400,000 yen) to cover these incidental expenses.
